OUR PASTOR
Mike Vanderpool is the pastor of the Windsor Hills Baptist Church in Corona, California. He was born in the Hague, Netherlands in 1960 and moved to Wisconsin with his parents and 4 siblings at the age of six weeks. He received his early schooling in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and attended High School in Ceres, California.
September 9, 1980 was a turning point in Pastor Mike Vanderpool's life. After joining the U.S. Air Force, it was at the age of 19 that he trusted Christ as his personal Saviour. While he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, he met his wife, Mitsuko.
His heart and passion for God are evident in his desire to tell others about Jesus Christ and to see them grow closer to Him.
After spending much time in prayer, God's calling for Pastor Mike was to go to the ministry. He enrolled in the Baptist College of America and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastor Theology in 2000.
After graduation, he founded and is currently pastoring the Windsor Hills Baptist Church.
Pastor Vanderpool's heartbeat is for others. He loves his church, and has maintained it's close-knit family atmosphere and its love for others. The Vanderpools have one daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grandsons.
OUR CHURCH
Your visit to Windsor Hills Baptist will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. Our church is known for our friendly and loving members; we welcome new visitors with open arms. Our church was founded by Pastor Vanderpool in 2000 and we have since been reaching the city of Corona.
We currently hold our services at the Women's Improvement Club while we are raising money to buy our own church building in Corona. If you feel God has led you to donate to our church and our building fund, any amount would be a blessing in furthering the gospel.
